Airports
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is the nearest airport. The airport has a railway station. By train it takes only 40 minutes to get you in Utrecht. Other nearby airports are those of Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Airport Düsseldorf Regional - Weeze (the former Airport Niederrhein) just over the German border near de Dutch city of Nijmegen.
Railways
Utrecht is the centre of the Dutch Railways and has the largest train station of the Netherlands. Nearly all cities can be reached directly by train from Utrecht. Utrecht is also connected to the Night Net of the Dutch Railways which connects Utrecht, Amsterdam, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Leiden, The Hague and Rotterdam 24/7.
Utrecht Public Transport
In the city the Utrecht Public Transport (GVU) offers bus services throughout the city. Due to close cooperation of Stichting EuroGames Utrecht and GVU, we will be able to offer all Participants a Public Transport Pass for all GVU buses during the EuroGames at a special low price! The pass can be ordered at the Registration Pages.
Bikes!
The best way to explore and move around the city is by bike. Bikes can be rented at many places throughout the city for one or more days.
