Cees Bol is project manager Administration & Accreditation of the EuroGames 2005. From September last year he and his crew have worked over 5000 hours to make sure the accreditation of EuroGames 2005 runs smoothly. And the work is paying off.

Bol: "Everything is going perfectly. Because of a good ICT system and 200 enthusiastic volunteers who are working today we hardly have any problems. We have received a lot of compliments from foreign participants who praised our professional approach."
In the Jaarbeurs the participants come in, get a pass and are registered.

The athletes are welcomed by smiling volunteers that are seated behind a battery of computers. They are joined by music from Final Fantasy Party and 2500 balloons and were ready for the participants that come from all over Europe. Bol: "Thursday morning a Bulgarian volleybalteam arrived. They spend more than 50 hours on a bus getting here. They had little eyes from the lack of sleep but were eager to get started."

Thursday afternoon they got the biggest load. "That is right before the Opening Ceremony. Everybody wants to be in time to see that!" They even had to hand out tickets for the opening because not everybody could be registered. After the Opening ceremony they got back on line to accredite around 80 more people.
