EuroGames Utrecht 2005 & EGLSF

The EuroGames Utrecht 2005 Press Conference was held and witnessed by national and international journalists and camera crews. Dutch television network KRO and the American television netwerk Q Television were present.

Gerard Mollink, Chairman Executive Office EuroGames Utrecht 2005, introduced the board members Lou Manders and Astrid Claessen of EuroGames Utrecht 2005. They stated the facts, figures and statistics of the 10th Gay and Lesbian Multi-sports Championships and praised the outstanding co-operation with the city of Utrecht. Hans Kuperus, Chief Mayor's Cabinet City of Utrecht supported this and gave his personal compliments to the EuroGames 2005 organisation.

Furthermore, male co-president EGLSF Beppo Brem and board member EGLSF Dirk Alex explained among others their Outreach programme, which supports the visibility and integration of gay and lesbian athletes in countries were homosexuality in sport is still a taboo.

The press was invited to attend the spectacular EuroGames Utrecht 2005 Opening Ceremony at 20:00 hrs in the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs Utrecht, Hall 12.

The press accreditation is still open and will be on friday from 7:00 -12:00 hrs in the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs Utrecht in Hall 8 and from 14:00-19:00 hrs at the Kargadoor, Oudegracht 36 Utrecht. On Saturday the press accreditation is at Kargadoor from 8:00 - 12:00 hrs.
